Commitment to Safety

Safety First and Always. Continuous employee training on everyday safe work practices and specific client safety requirements is our number one priority.

To that end, safety is an integral part of our corporate culture and a fundamental component of our company. Recognizing that the safety and well being of our people and those we serve are dependent upon our commitment to education and training, our corporate safety culture includes formalized training emphasizing proper safety behavior. Through education and awareness, all Structural Group employees are empowered to improve the well being of themselves and their team members. We firmly believe that a safe, drug-free, and productive work environment is an investment in the future of the company, our employees and our clients.

As a condition of continuing employment, all employees sign a "Commitment to Safety" statement, as well as attend routine safety meetings and training sessions. We provide training in hazard recognition and safe work practices. This proactive approach to safety trains employees to spot challenges situations before they create an unsafe environment. These efforts aid in the prevention of employee injuries and of damage to property.

Our commitment to safety goes beyond our employees and extends to our peers, subcontractors, customers and the general public. We developed the Field Guide to Better Safety to increase understanding and awareness of safety. Designed for employee training as a reference tool for safety meetings and an outline of our best practices, this book is intended to compliment OSHA and other local, state, and federal regulations concerning construction or general industry.
